Hi NOLS!
We are about to set out on a similar grease-powered trip cross the North-American continent! We are activists, writers and student living in Halifax, Nova Scotia. After watching your video "The Anatomy of Grease," however, we are a bit worried about where we are going to be able to get good vegetable oil to power our bus (which is much smaller than yours, but nevertheless a fuel beast).
Are you keeping a list of places where you found good veggie oil? Places like Chapelles. If you had such a list, it would help us a lot to perhaps plan some of our grease-seeking stops while we are in the States.
