President Bush Endorses NOLS Bus

Well, not exactly, but during Tuesday's State of the Union the president declared,

"America is addicted to oil…The best way to break this addiction is through technology."

The NOLS Bus is addicted to oil, recycled vegetable oil (RVO) collected at restaurants across the country. 18 months on the road, 30,000 miles and 42 states later the NOLS Bus's RVO odyssey continues. Motoring out of Salt Lake City today the bus is headed cross country for a few months on the East Coast including stops in D.C., Baltimore and New York.

A thought-provoking anti bio-fuels story was featured on NPR this morning. It didn't mention RVO, focusing instead on refined bio-fuels. The Princeton Progressive Nation blog has a short opinion piece as well.  It is great to see interest in the topic of alternative energy!
